The Story of Diamond Ring I have a diamond ring set in platinum. Because of new mounting techniques it has no visible metal clamps on it. This made it unnecessary to have any tiny diamonds set around it. This simple design shows up the sparkling brightness of the diamond. This ring is a worldly possession I have longed for. However, having owned it I sometimes become puzzled by it. This has more to do with my nature of getting to the bottom of things than my desire for material possessions.
